Salsa verde means green sauce in Italian and Spanish. And as the name implies, the green mint salsa is highly versatile and goes with a variety a dishes; from Italian to Spanish to Mexican cuisine.
The salsa is particularly great with Mexican street tacos as a contrast to the classic, spicy tomato-based salsa. Equally so, as a light sauce for an oven-roasted lamb chop. Fresh and lightly sour in its taste. Incredibly easy and quick to prepare.
Simply put all the ingredients in a blender and blend it until the salsa reaches a thin, sauce-like texture.
